About Us
We produce the BEST TASTING eggs in Appomattox County, VA!
Our hens are cared for like pets, they are cage free and are allowed to free range if they desire. Our flock is fed only non-GMO products along with table scraps as a special treat. We rotate new pullets in, as some of our older, non-producing hens "retire". The retirees remain on the farm to live out their days, while they teach the young ones all they need to know.
Security against predators is our biggest concern and we have taken precautions to protect our girls. Chicken fencing, bird netting, electric fences, as well as our "chicken-friendly" dogs who patrol the area, keep foxes, bears, coyotes, hawks, owls, and even snakes away from the coop.
We truly hope you enjoy our eggs!

Eggs are gluten- and carb-free. If you can't have gluten or you're on a special diet for diabetes, eggs are a great way to get your protein.

Healthy hair, healthy skin. Eggs contain a B-complex vitamin called biotin. This vitamin helps your body metabolize fats and carbs for energy. As an added plus, biotin can improve your hair, nails and skin!
Brown eggs and white eggs are basically the same. As a final note, there's no need to worry about whether you should get brown eggs or white eggs. Brown eggs come from bigger chickens with red ears, and white eggs come from smaller chickens with white ears. That's the biggest difference.
Introducing our new Hatchery!!
Concerned with the rising cost of chicks from online hatcheries and local brick and mortar suppliers, we decided to start our own hatchery. This way we keep our flock constant, and we can also supply others with an alternative source for healthy chicks. We plan to sell pure-bred ISA Browns, Alpine Whites, Ameraucana, and Barnyard chicks to start off. We'll be adding breeds as needed or requested.
