2/10/23 - We are happy to announce that we have ramped up production and the girls are really coming through now! We have an additional 82 hens that, along with the 30 we had, are now laying like champs! We started a Twitter account to go along with our website and our Facebook page. You can go to those accounts by clicking on the social media links. Remember, we now take Zelle and Cash for our payments. Zelle has no fees for either of us! Give us a call, pick up a dozen and try us out, you won't be disappointed!
3/18/23 - We have started setting our booth at the Appomattox Farmer's Market at the Iceland's Parking Lot. This will be every Saturday morning from 8am-12pm. If you can't make it, or for some reason we couldn't make it, you can always place an order by going to our "Ordering" tab and we can deliver eggs to you. We will also have coffee, hot chocolate, and bottled water for sale. Stop by and see us! Don't forget to bring egg cartons!
5/1/23 - In addition to our booth at the Appomattox Farmer's Market, we are setting up in the truck lot across from Sheetz (Rt 460 &Village Hwy) in order to reach more people. Stop by either location on Saturday mornings and pick up some eggs. We are currently DROPPING our price to $4 per Dozen due to a decrease in feed costs. Take advantage of this price drop! If you are interested in learning how to Water Glass Eggs, check out our "Recipe" section for instructions. Water Glassing allows you to store fresh eggs for a year or more to use later. Store your Spring and Summer eggs to hold you through the Winter when the hens aren't laying as much.
8/19/24- Hello everyone! After a rough year, we are back with eggs and more hens! The bears and foxes did a number on us, killing over 115 hens during the Fall & Winter months! We have built back up to 60 hens who are now laying eggs like nobody's business! Please go to our ordering page here to place your orders for delivery/pickup. We have lowered our prices per dozen to $3. Thank you!
4/1/24- Well, we are up to 60 hens in our re-population efforts. Due to an increase in feed costs, we have raised our prices to $4 per dozen. We held off as long as we could before doing this. We have also gained second full time jobs by now managing the Loose Shoe Too Brewery in Appomattox. We have eggs available for pick up from that location now as well. We appreciate you all for your patronage!
